Frankfurt, 9 May 2016 – The Cinia Group and Alcatel-Lucent Submarine Networks (ASN) have successfully completed tests on the C-Lion1 submarine cable system between Helsinki and Rostock, demonstrating a record-breaking capacity of 144 Tbit/s (18 Tbit/s x 8 fiber pairs).
